Tighnari’s finally out with Genshin Impact Version 3.0, and his feature banner is currently live as we speak. Even though the pull rate is less since he will be added to the Standard Banner after Version 3.1, the few who are pulling for him are playing him to the fullest. As a new Dendro quick-swap sub-DPS character, it can be confusing to choose teammates for him at first.
Tighnari’s Best Teams in Genshin Impact Version 3.0
Tighnari shines in a Quicken and Spread team. Since these are electro reactions, you ideally want at least 1 consistent off-field electro applier unit and the rest can be up for grabs. You can use an Anemo character with high EM for team synergy, crowd control and swirl utility or you can use a shielder- preferably Zhongli for survivability. Your last slot could be either another electro character for more Electro Resonance and battery, or it can be another Dendro unit for Dendro synergy- though there aren’t many options for the latter.
Below we’ve listed the best units for each of the above categories.
Electro Teammates
You need them for Quicken reactions like Aggravate or Spread. Additionally, Electro Resonance gives back energy from reactions.
- Fischl- Support, Sub-dps and Battery.
- Yae Miko- Sub-dps and Support.
- Kuki Shinobu- Support and Healing.
- Raiden Shogun- Support, Sub-dps and Battery.
Anemo Teammates
You need the following for buffing your whole party with EM which Tighnari scales off of. You also need them to Swirl Electro to surrounding enemies and control the crowd for an easier time.
- Sucrose- EM buffs, Swirls and CC.
- Kazuha- EM buffs and Swirls.
- Venti- CC and Swirls.
Shielder Supports
You’re better off using Geo shielders for this one than than of any other element as they might mess up your reactions and rotations. Since Geo is inert, it doesn’t interrupt other elements or their reactions. Diona is only here if you also need a healer and don’t mind her interruption in Quicken reactions.
- Zhongli
- Noelle
- Diona
Dendro Teammates
Since there are only two characters, and since they are both supports, both work well with Tighnari but we highly recommend you choose the Dendro Traveler as he is miles better than Collei in terms of support and off-field Dendro application. You also want your Dendro supports to be running Deepwood Memories artifact set as it shreds Dendro resistance on enemies.
- Dendro Traveler
- Collei
With this team comp, you can expect the highest numbers of damage and the easiest challenge clears. It can be confusing at first but you’ll get used to the rotations soon. The best thing about the Quicken team comp is that it really doesn’t matter who goes first as you just need to cause the reaction to cause damage.
