Shader Issues and Update Graphics Driver
Sometimes you will get stuck in your loading screen while your shaders are unpacking, but if it is not successful, you might be stuck there indefinitely or will be unable to play the game. To fix this, check if your Graphics Drivers are updated. To do that, you can go to the official website for your graphic card and download the latest drivers there. Once you are done with that, go to your driver’s control panel, go to Manage 3D Settings, find the option called Shader Cache, and turn it off. Click Apply, then close the program. If you wish, you can keep it off, or turn it back on again. Restart your computer for the effect to take place.
Turn Down Texture Streaming
In Apex Legends Settings, go to Video, scroll down till you see Texture Streaming Budget, then reduce it from 6GB to 4GB and below. You will notice a difference by having increased performance and frame rate than usual. You can other settings that you do not need, but mainly turning down Texture Streaming Budget will help in GPU usage and make your game load faster.
Disable Antivirus/Firewall
Sometimes, third-party software will interfere with how your game works. You will have to manually disable your antivirus and firewall to make the game run. Don’t forget to turn them back on after you are done playing Apex Legends.
Run Apex Legends as Admin
Find your game in your local directory, right-click it and choose the option Run as Administrator. Restart your computer and see if it solves the issue.
Check with your Network Provider
If you think the issue stems from your Network Provider blocking access, you will need to get it sorted out. You can also check if your internet is causing problems, or use a wired Ethernet cable to play the game.
Go back to Main Menu
This hack seems to work for a lot of players and does not involve hampering your system settings. All you have to do if you are stuck in the preloading screen is to just go to your options panel, go to Apex Legends main menu, then load the match again.
Restart your Game and System
You can close your game and try launching it again, or restart your system entirely. Shut your system down, then unplug it from its source socket, wait a few seconds before plugging it back in. Startup your PC and launch the game to see if the loading screen error goes away.
Check for any Game Updates
If there is maintenance going on currently, you won’t be able to log into the game. You can check for any server maintenance by visiting Apex Legends’ official website and their Twitter handle. If you are behind on patch updates, you can check that out too.
Verify Game Files
Sometimes, corrupted or missing files can be a cause for the preloading screen to keep occurring. If you find yourself in that situation, you will have to check the Integrity of Game Files from your game client.
Contact Support
If you have tried all the above and are still facing the issue, it would be best to contact support and raise a ticket about the problem.
