Luckily, Redcrests are not uncommon to find, and you can find plenty of them while venturing through the desert plains. Just look around for large green cactuses that bear bright red fruits. You can easily spot them near the main pathways and near villages and the Statue of the Sevens. Once you pluck them, you have to wait 48 hours for them to respawn. Below is a map that will show you where to get the Redcrests.
As mentioned earlier, you need Redcrests to ascend Candace, and you will need 168 Redcrests in total to ascend her to the max level. If you follow the map above, you can easily farm between 70 to 80 Redcrests in a day, so getting to around 200 Redcrests is not impossible if you bypass the respawn time. You can start by visiting the Statue of the Seven near Aaru Village, then make your way south.
There are some locations that are not mentioned, either because they are too far or the area is swarming with enemies, so you should keep that in mind while venturing through the Sumeru desert.
