Dinkum is an Australian farming and life simulator game created by James Bendon. The idea of the game is to create a new populated island and decorate it any way you see fit. There are a lot of survival aspects to the game as you need to chop your own wood, mine minerals and cook food in order to survive. This guide will take you through the process of where to find tin, copper and quartz ore in Dinkum.
Tin, Copper, Quartz Ore Locations in Dinkum
As you play through the game, you will realise that there are three types of ore which are found on the terrain of Dinkum, which are tin, copper and quartz. As the maps are randomly generated, you will need to look for the minerals in specific biomes, and there is no set location for them.

You will need tin pretty early on in the game, and learn how to smelt the ore in a Crude Furnace. You can mine tin from reserves which are found on the surface ground. If you’ve come across rock in the game, you will know that they resemble a similar shape, but tin ore is indicated by the sharp peaks of grey on the rock.
Using a Pickaxe will break it down, but you will need to hit more times than you would for a normal rock. The same goes for the other two materials. You can get copper from the red peaks on the stone. You will need quite a lot of copper and tin at first, so make sure to keep an eye out for them.
All ores are most commonly found on the red biome. Tin and Quartz might be a little hard to differentiate at first, especially at night, but remember that quartz ore is a little more translucent. Tin ore looks solid gray.
You can process and sell quartz for Dinks, or you can hold on to them to use Quartz for later crafting recipes. Iron is another ore that will be unlocked for you later in the game.
