New Movements in Modern Warfare 2
Modern Warfare 2’s movement mechanics have been completely revamped. Because of the integration of these unique new elements, the map is now more accessible to players. Let’s concentrate on the ones that have already been revealed.
- Sliding
The new sliding function allows players to slide down the edge of a structure with complete freedom of movement. Slide down can be done in either the toe-up or toe-down stance. This opens up a new option for players to swiftly reposition themselves.
- Ledge-Hanging
The game now includes Ledge Hang. This means that instead of just manteling over into a shootout, players may peer through walls and windows while aiming with a handgun. This will undoubtedly bring a new depth to the sport, as players must now watch for shots from the ledges.
- Swimming
Swimming is a fantastic addition to the game. Water bodies were formerly prohibited. If a player made contact with the water, they were automatically eliminated. However, the addition of the swimming mechanism will give a new depth to the player’s playstyle. It will introduce new gameplay elements such as stealth escape and exploration. Operators in Modern Warfare 2 may now swim through and underwater.
- Diving
When being shot at, players can now rapidly drop onto their belly or behind cover. This, together with the existing sliding feature, will allow players to easily exit gunfights and restart their engagement.
These are the mechanics that have been exposed thus far, and they will undoubtedly improve the player base’s gameplay experience. Check out our Modern Warfare guide for additional information.
