Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 is out and fans of the game are scrambling around to level up as quickly as possible. The game now has new storylines and skins that are up for grabs. Some fans have gone the easy route and purchased levels on their Battle Pass, thus giving them an easy way out. But if you like the slow grind of the free-to-play route, then this guide is for you.
How to Level Up Quickly in Fortnite
Maxing out your Battle Pass is a surefire way to get all the extra items and skins available in-game, but even so, there might be more content to unlock that will require additional XP. Players can get additional styles for their skins, but it might prove to be too much of a grind for most. Here is some way you can level up fast and get XP.
Attempt the Daily and Weekly Challenges.
Epic Games always include a Weekly Challenge, so players can get an incredible amount of XP in Fortnite. Each challenge promises a pretty good amount of XP as a reward and it doesn’t even take long to complete it. The same goes for Daily Challenges, even though the XP reward is lesser than what you would get by attempting a Weekly Challenge, if you keep doing them then the XP will accumulate.
If you cannot find the time to complete every single challenge, try to prioritize the Legendary Challenges that will give you more XP and in turn making it time-efficient. Then once you are done with that you can focus on the epic and rare.
You might also get the Seasonal Challenges in Fortnite, which is available in most Seasons. These will give out some cosmetics and XP as rewards. Even though the rewards seem worth it, you will have a limited time to complete them.
Take Part in Matches
The more actively you take part in matches, the more XP you will get. Different scenarios will give you different XP.
- First Kill: 50 XP
- Takedown: 20 XP
- Survivor: 17 XP per minute
- Top 20: 25 XP
- Top 10: 100 XP
- Victory Royale: 300 XP
- Open chests and loot boxes
If you are full-on resources, it is best to open up all the crates and loot boxes you have. Even if you don’t need the resources, by opening them you will gain a small amount of XP that adds up over time. Opening chests is also great when you don’t have any more challenges left.
Complete Milestones
While playing the game, you will automatically start hitting milestones. Just doing ordinary tasks will build up the rewards in the milestone system. You can always check if you got any more milestone quests left since some of them have certain requirements that you might not have paid attention to. You might get smaller XP rewards, but they are easier to complete.
Choose Multiplayer
Some challenges will require you to pair up with other players to take up some of the hardships. If you choose to play with friends, you will be able to quickly complete all squad-related challenges and even help each other out, even if the other players have different challenges to complete.
Purchasing levels
Even though this method is not F2P, it certainly is the fastest way to level up your Battle Pass and unlock all the new content. If you feel like you would rather not waste any time going the slow route, you can pay some extra cash and get your Battle Pass maxed out earlier than other players.
These are just some ways in how you can level up quickly in the new chapter of Fortnite.
