Genshin Impact already confirmed the release of Dori and her splash art looks as adorable as it looks exotic. She’s an electro character expected to wield a claymore. This makes her the second chibi character to use a claymore after Sayu. As an electro character, she’s expected to synergize well with the two Dendro units releasing alongside her in Version 3.0 Sumeru. In this article, we will discuss her leaked kit and constellations to see how she will fit into the game and character roster.
Dori’s Kit and Constellations in Genshin Impact
Dori is a 4-star electro unit expected to wield a claymore atop her djinn familiar. She’s expected to enable electro reactions with Dendro like Catalyse, Intensify, and so on. Her design is exotic and players have noted her similarity to Diona’s design. She’s expected to be electro support and an off-field DPS unit with healing abilities in her kit.
Her elemental skill (E) has a DPS functionality. While it’s not known if this remains in the field when she goes off-field but leakers speculate so. Her elemental skill functionality will be determined by her internal cooldowns and rate of Electro application to enemies in addition to her damage scaling. Her elemental burst (Q) has a healing and energy recharge functionality with its damage role being somewhat secondary. Players can expect interesting gameplay as they attempt to bring a number of enemies between them and the “Spirit of the Lamp”.
Dori’s constellations focus mainly on her elemental skill. From reducing its cooldown, restoring energy, and healing to even firing an additional attack shot- players can guess how she’ll be focused around her E. Her gameplay seems focused on healing and electro elemental reactions including the electro-dendro reactions to be added in Sumeru.
Players can focus on building her with high HP, elemental mastery, and energy recharge to get the best out of her. We still don’t know the damage scaling on her E and Q so that might still change everything and take her from a support role to a sub-DPS role. As an electro character, her gameplay is expectedly interesting- and we can only hope she has a better scaling than Kuki Shinobu.
