A smartphone game based on augmented reality (AR) created by Niantic with Nintendo and The Pokémon Company released in 2016 as part of the Pokémon series, Pokémon Go is available for iOS and Android phones and tablets. The game uses GPS-enabled mobile devices to locate, capture, train, and battle virtual monsters known as Pokémon, which appear to be in the player’s real-world location.
In addition to creating an account, players can customize their avatars. ‘PokéStops’ and ‘Pokémon Gyms‘ are among the map’s features. Once an avatar is created, it is displayed on a map based on its geographical location. PokéStops may also be equipped with lure modules that attract wild Pokémon and rare Pokémon sometimes.
In Pokémon Go, Community Days honor certain Pokémons each month, when that Pokémon spawns at a higher rate, appears more frequently in its Shiny form, and evolves into an event-exclusive move on a day-long basis. Community Days often feature uncommon or popular Pokémon, although there have been a few outliers in recent years.
There will be two Community Days in January 2023 in Pokémon GO. On January 7, 2023, a previously unknown Shiny Pokémon will be revealed. For people who might have missed the Community Day Classic event, on January 21, 2023, a Pokemon that was previously unknown from past Community Days will be brought back.
Thus, Chespin, the Spiny Nut Pokémon, will be featured in the Community Day Event in January 2023. In addition to appearing more frequently in the wild, you may also encounter Shiny Chespin for the first time in Pokémon GO. Trainers in the Kalos region can choose the Grass-type starter Pokémon as their first Pokémon. Players will finally be able to encounter Chespin’s Shiny form, and they will learn the exclusive move Frenzy Plant upon evolving into Chesnaught.
Despite being unable to predict what 2023’s Pokémon Go Community Days will feature, stay tuned for more updates.
