Fans of Call of Duty Warzone 2 can be looking forward to a number of brand-new features that are expected to arrive with the game. One such new feature is the Gulag 2.0 system, which will change the gameplay experience in a major way. In contrast to some games that allow solo play, Warzone 2 forbids it, requiring at least two players to play together or against one another at all times. One of the new features is the split circle which is quite different from the traditional circles.
Let’s see how the split circles work in Warzone 2.

How Split Circles Work in Warzone 2?
To get started, let’s talk about how traditional circle collapses work. Warzone 2 has the same playable area as other battle royale-style games. If you stay within this boundary, you won’t die – in this case, via toxic gas – but if you stray outside, you will.
In the match, the boundary gets smaller and smaller, funneling players toward one point on the map as the match progresses. Obviously, this speeds up matches, preventing players from hiding out and refusing to move around.
But in Warzone 2, the split circle changes shape when it splits into three separate circles before reuniting again. This causes some really strategic gameplay. Having defined these zones, the gas will divide up the maps. As players try to find which zone provides them with the best chance of survival and victory- those individual zones will also start shrinking over time, forcing all remaining squads into small battles where they attempt to wrestle control of a zone for themselves.
The triple circles mean that players have to constantly shift positions and can’t stay in one place for too long. Good teams are more likely to survive until the end of a game, so they will have to play other good teams because they won’t be able to gain an advantage by staying in the middle.
This sums up our guide on the working of split circles in Warzone 2. Be sure to check our other guides for more updates on the game.
