Apex Legends is going through a lot of issues over the past week. All the problems with the game started around the same time, which is when the Genesis event launched. It suggests that the large number of players that are jumping on the event is causing issues with the server. Users are getting all kinds of errors from .Net, Leaf, Shoe, to others. But, the most irritating is when you cannot log in to the game and get the Apex Legends Login Error Code 100. Regardless of the device, you play on, you could get this error.
The first you should do to fix the error is to spam the connect button. For a large number of users, that’s all you need to do to fix the error. But, if the problem persists, the issue could be with the DNS.
When playing an online game, nothing is more frustrating than a lapse in connection leading to an error. The Apex Legends error code 100 and other connection issues that can cause lag and eventual loss in the game is frustrating to say the least.
The lag could be caused due to a range of reasons often beyond your control and occurring sparsely, but if the connection issue or lag starts to happen in every game, it’s a serious problem as you cannot experience the game to the fullest and the problem might be local with your system configurations, specifically the DNS settings.
The default DNS setting could be slowing your connection. To fix the Apex Legends Error Code 100 and Connection Issues, change the DNS settings.
You can easily change the DNS settings for all three devices – Xbox, PS4, and PC. For this purpose, we will use the Google DNS that’s considered one of the best for playing online games and is recommended by most game developers.
Here are the steps you can follow.
