Outriders: Worldslayer is the latest DLC update to the Outriders game. It’s a looter-shooter game that improves on the fun and flashy combat mechanics of its predecessor. Players are encouraged to be aggressive since the healing mechanism activates upon killing enemies under certain conditions depending on the class you are playing.
How Different Classes Heal in Outriders: Worldslayer
Different classes heal differently on the battlefield and their basic healing mechanisms are outlined below. Outriders: Worldslayer emphasizes head-on encounters and rewards you for the enemies you take down. Here is how different classes can heal themselves.
Devastator
The Devastator class restores part of their health bar with each kill at close range. This is a close-range tank class so while you’ll be taking a lot of damage, more kills mean more healing.
Pyromancer
For the Pyromancer class, when they kill an enemy which is already marked by their skill or class ability, they restore a part of their health. Some Pyromancer skills also allow you to leech health off your enemies.
Trickster
The Trickster class restores not only their health but also their shield with each close-range kill. The shield buffs are vital as they reduce incoming damage.
Technomancer
The Technomancer class is special because it doesn’t require you to outright kill your enemies to heal. Any damage that a Technomancer deals restores a small portion of their health. This is also a support class so there are plenty of skills in its kit that also allows you to heal yourself and your allies in a battle.
The Kill to Heal is not an obvious strategy because the tutorials of the game automatically position the players as taking cover- playing cautiously and tactically. There are also no healing items in the game that one can use for reliable and safe healing. It is advisable for players to use weapon and armor mods for reliable and safe healing on the battlefield. While most enemies in the Enoch are small and come in hordes, the tougher enemies and bosses spawn underlings which the player needs to kill to keep up their health bar and keep going.
