When you start to build your castle and unlock the Blood Altar, you will get a list of various bosses to track down, and each of them is at varying levels of difficulty. But you will need to go through them in a particular order so that you will not waste much time trying to get blueprints, recipes, and shapeshifting forms.
Alpha Wolf
This is the first boss you will encounter in V Rising after getting past Level 16. Defeating the Alpha Wolf will give you a taste of boss battles, as well as getting your first set of rewards. You will be able to unlock the Wolf Form after defeating it, which gives you a 45% travel boost.
Keely, the Frost Archer
You should target Keely next to get the Tannery blueprint, which will help you create leather. She is also the first human boss that you will encounter at level 20, but she is not that tough once you know her moveset. Besides the Tannery, you can also unlock the Frost Bat Power, and get the recipes for Leather, Empty Canteen, and Travelers’ Warp.
Rufus the Foreman
The next in line on your list should be Rufus the Foreman, and defeating him is important to get the Woodworking Bench blueprint. With the Woodworking Bench, you will be able to craft the Crossbow and the Fishing Rod, as well as other useful items. You will encounter Rufus at level 20, but the fight is tougher than Keely’s. Along with the Woodworking Bench blueprint, you will also get the recipes for the Fishing Rod, Hunter’s Crossbow, Painting Frame, and Sculptured Wood. You will also get Blood Rage, a new skill to add to your ever-growing abilities.
Grayson the Armorer
While Grayson the Armorer is a level 27 boss, you should wait till your Gear Level is at 30+ to take him down. The bosses start getting tougher once you reach Grayson, so it is best to come prepared. Defeating Grayson is worth it, as this will help you unlock the Whetstone crafting material, which is used to create the Grinder. Along with that, you will also get the new skill Crimson Aegis, an assortment of Statues, Longboards, and the Five Finger Workboards.
Polora the Feywalker
Defeating Polora the Feywalker will help you create your Waygates, helping you fast travel anywhere you wish. But she is a Level 34 boss, so you will have to keep leveling up till you can defeat her. Once she is down, beside the Waygate blueprint, you will also get Golden Floors, Spectral Wolf power, and Minor Garlic Resistance Brew.
